How to Get Rid of Kinky Hair

If you have kinky hair you know how frustrating it can be to try to tame it. I personally have had a ton of success with getting rid of it andzone when dealing with my own hair care problems. If you have kinky hair I encourage you to read on as I am going to cover a few areas you can use to get rid of it.

First if you live in pertainingosis, you can use the shampoo family of products to deal with your afro. These are very good for removing bacteria and dirt and they will also clean your scalp. There is a plant calledMorula botanicawhich grows in Asia. The best time to apply the shampoo is first thing in the morning and last thing at night. It will make a difference by the way. It will make your hair shinier and softer.

Before you apply the shampoo make sure you have gently scrubbed and cleaned your scalp and hair. You can use an astringent to get rid of the dirt if you didn’t already use an astringent. Airstring is best for removing tangles and it is good to apply while hair is wet.

Get a good flat iron and use it on your hair while it is wet. The iron should be very close to your scalp. When you are ready to start straightening you should divide your hair into three sections. The iron should be on the first section and move towards the second section, and then the second section should be straightened while the first is left over. If you have kinky hair you should use your fingers to comb out the kinks while you iron in sections.

When you begin to get the look you want with the flat iron you should let it sit in your hair for a while before you start styling it. This lets it cool down a bit and you can start touching it. Your hair should be clean when you start. You should wait a few minutes after you shampoo so that it has time to soak into your hair. I usually run my fingers through it at this stage, it seems best to do it in sections.

You shouldn’t touch your hair until you have dried it, it will shrink back to its normal size again. I usually wait for a couple of hours to dry it, though. Don’t be tempted to throw on a hat or something to keep your hair from getting wet, this will just add to your problems. Once your hair is dry you can start picking at it. In the sectioned ponytail style you can tease out the hair closest to your face. If your hair is short you may not be able to do this. You can get your hair as short as you like. Just not too short. Helping to tone down the curls and give your hair a softer look.

Results may not last long. Your hair will fall out if you sleep with it in your sleep cycle. I know everyone has their own rules about when they should wash their hair, but I really do not think you can argue with results. If you use this method you will have to retwist your hair about 3 or 4 times a week for maintenance. It also costs about $10/month for the deep conditioning treatments. I’m sure you can budget some money for this.

There are other ways that can help you combat the frizz that your hair seems to be creating. You could try to work out towards it, by working towards it. By walking with confidence you will feel better about yourself and it will show. You can take the three great colors you have and make the best natural color safe for your hair type. If you’re not coloring your hair already, you should consider it. If you do, think about getting a tint which is darker than your normal color. This is a great way to add dimension and to add life to your hair you never thought you had.

Hope this helps your decide what color to choose for your hair. Best of luck!
